Aroma: Fruit forward with black plums, red berries and chocolate.

Tasting notes: Full bodied wine with refined tannins leaving a silky chocolatey texture. Expressing black fruit flavours of plum and blackberries coupled with hints of red cherry, forest fruits, chocolate and coffee.

Vinification: Aged in French oak barrique for 6 months.

Food pairing: Purcari Rara Neagra & Saperavi is best paired with red meat steaks such as beef, venison or lamb. It works very well with barbequed meats and vegetables, alternatively black forest gateaux makes a surprisingly good pairing.

Serving temperature: 18-20°C
