Aroma: Harmonious and nuanced bouquet that elegantly combines notes of pomegranate, chocolate and plum.
Tasting notes: Light – medium bodied wine with a medium – high acidity, expressing lots of red fruit flavours, ripe cherries, strawberry, pomegrante. The texture is velvety with hints of dried fruits and vanilla, and a delicate oak accent in the finish.
Vinification: Aged in French oak barrique for 6 months.
Food pairing: Chateau Purcari Rara Neagra pairs perfectly with grilled meat and vegetables, skewers or pork steak. It also works well with cheese boards and charcuterie.
