About Us
A little about us, our story starts when my Moldovan wife took me to visit her homeland, a relatively unknown country in Eastern Europe.
Quickly I discovered how the country is home to many unique native varietals, combined with a special chernozem soil and a terroir heavily influenced by the Dneister river and Black sea. These factors combine to create premium quality wines which are comparable to those of the old world.
Moldova is home to Cricova the world’s largest underground cave system at 120km in length and Milestii Mici the world’s largest store of wines, with over 1.6 million bottles. Wine truly is the lifeblood of Moldova and this is reflected in every bottle.
